Native to Africa, castor oil is derived from the castor bean and is traditionally used in hair care to hydrate, protect, boost growth and soften dry, coarse hair. It has been used for centuries as a hair and scalp treatment. Rich in ricinoleic fatty acid and glycerides, castor oil is unique in its ability to act as both an emollient and humectant, drawing moisture to the hair and locking it in. Castor oil is readily absorbed into the skin and scalp and is prized for its ability to boost growth and thicken hair. The density and richness of Castor oil makes it uniquely suited to effectively moisturize dry hair, combat breakage by increasing the pliability of coarse hair and add shine and sheen to dull hair. Amla & Olive Heavy Cream directions: Delivers maximum moisture and hydration to afros, coils, curls, pony puffs, two strand twists, braids, cornrows, fades and chemical and color processes. It also keeps new growth soft, restores moisture and elasticity to dry brittle ends and helps weigh down kinks and coils. Use as a:

Evenly distribute a small to moderate amount through dry or slightly damp hair.
Castor & Amla Nourishing Pomade directions:
Apply to scalp to nourish the scalp and encourage growth.
Apply to edges and ends to combat dryness and breakage.
Apply to hair before cornrowing, braiding, locing or twisting to lend softness, pliability and sheen.
Apply to short hair and fades then brush to smooth down, soften and add sheen.
Apply to loose, damp hair to retain moisture and add sheen.
Castor & Moringa Softening Serum directions:
Thoroughly distribute a quarter sized amount to damp or dry hair to add softness and sheen to thick, dry or coarse hair
Use as a hot oil treatment. Heat bottle in a microwave for several seconds until warm and coat entire scalp and hair. Cover hair with plastic and wrap with a towel. Leave in for 15 minutes to an hour. Rinse with warm water. Use this treatment twice a month or when your hair needs deep conditioning.
Use as an oil rinse. Completely coat hair, massage through and rinse with warm water.
Use as a conditioning boost. Add to your favorite shampoo or conditioner for added emollience, slip and moisture.
The color of our Amla & Olive Heavy Cream may vary from batch to batch from white, yellow or tan due to the color variations inherent in natural oils and botanicals. Expect slight variations in texture between batches as this is a natural product. This product is a stiff cream, however, if stored above room temperature or in a very warm environment for an extended period of time, the consistency may thin and become fluid. The stiff consistency is best maintained when stored in a cool environment or in a refrigerator.
