Our semi-soft hair butter softens thick, dry hair with an ultra-rich blend of pure olive oil, mango butter and rice bran oil. A touch of plant wax helps reduce frizz and smooth edges, and soy extract provides humectancy. This moisturizing hair butter is perfect for natural African hair as it provides the right amount of moisture and hold without the stiffness and flaking. Use for locs, braids, twists and twist outs. Divide hair into manageable sections and apply a small amount of Aethiopika hair butter to each section. For soft and defined loose styles, braid, twist or cornrow hair and keep in for several hours or overnight and then unravel. For additional softness and sheen, apply our Castor & Moringa Softening Serum to fingertips as you unravel. Separate and fluff until you achieve the fullness you want.

Directions
- Dig in with a finger tip and scoop out a dime sized amount.
- Evenly distribute through damp or dry sectioned hair before locing, twisting or braiding.
- For loose hair, rub between palms and evenly distribute throughout damp or dry hair.

Our Aethiopika Hydrate & Twist Butter is a semi-firm butter with a creamy/pasty texture but if exposed to high temperatures during transit, it may melt and crystalize, creating an uneven or mottled texture or grainy feel. This is not indicative of a formula change and will not affect performance. To remedy this, remove lid and place your jar in a microwave for about 10-25 seconds or until liquid. Return tightened lid, shake vigorously and place in a refrigerator for about an hour or allow to cool at room temperature for about 2 hours. The resultant texture will be semi-firm and smooth again. If you don"t want to heat, shake and cool, that's fine too. You can use the product as is and eliminate the graininess by rubbing the butter between your fingers before application.
